Meet Woodrow

Woodrow hails originally from a SC, shelter -- is a 3 year old lab mix, and 47 lbs, He is super friendly but when overly stimulated and under exercised, Woodrow nips at his leash and handlers for attention, a behavior easily controlled by refocusing the enthusiastic dog on toys or treats. Woodrow pays little attention to the other noisy, active dogs in the shelter, walking by without turning his head — a good indicator of his affability with other dogs. Woodrow is much more interested in getting outside to take a walk and be handled and petted by people. Woodrow seems to be an all-around great family dog in active adult homes or homes with older children. He is a good walker on leash, knows the basic commands, is outgoing and in the prime of his life ... able and willing to walk as far as you would like to go. And a tired dog is a calm dog!
