Meet Wonder!
This pretty little man came to naws to find his forever home! Wonder is sweet as can be and a little wiggly butt. Wonder is about 3 years old and came in to naws being quite underweight. We are helping get him in better shape now and he loves all the treats he can get at naws. This guy comes out of his shell pretty quickly and loves all of the attention. He is very calm for a two year old and is a really good buddy to have around. He's such a happy boy! Wonder absolutely loves playing with other dogs but is not a fan of kitties. He is very submissive for a male dog when playing with other pups. He would make a great family dog and loves kiddos. His favorite things are going on walks and getting belly rubs. Wonder was found by animal control as a stray. His microchip was scanned and his prior people were contacted and said they did not want him anymore. Wonder was initially adopted from us a few months ago and returned with his new doggie sister after the adopter went through a mental health crisis and needed us to take over care. He would love to be adopted with his sister Roxy but it is not a requirement. Nonetheless he'd love to have a doggie sibling. He is a very well behaved boy and house trained.


The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
