Wolt's Story

Sweet Wolt comes all the way from Azerbaijan - former Soviet republic- to find his forever home.

Wolt is an Azerbaijani Village Dog. This is a special breed, for their intelligence, emotional intuition and gentle nature. Friendliness is a survival skill for this breed, so they are delightfully good natured and mellow. And yes, they have some various shepherd breeds mixed in there, but they're essentially village dogs. You can talk to them like a person, in full sentences.

Wolt will do fine as an only dog or added to your pack. He is on the submissive end of the spectrum. He is a homebody. Doesn't need tons of exercise though he will enjoy a sniffing walk. Has short stocky legs, so..doesn't need a runner. Not a fast walker.

Cat friendly, dog friendly, people and kid friendly, Wolt will make a wonderful gentle companion, with his soulful brown eyes and grateful smile thrown in to make your heart melt.

4 1/2 years old. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Foster-to-adopt options available. This means you may foster him a couple weeks to make sure it's a good match for everyone before paying his fee and formally adopting him.

Wolt's fee is $600 to help defray his significant international travel costs.

To apply for this magical boy, please copy and paste the following link: https://gwarp.org/adopt/dog/ Follow up by sending a text to Alison at 267-639-0894
