Wire to Wire Greyhound Richmond, VA

Wire to Wire is a brood mama who has had 19 darling puppies. Wire is super sweet and extra lovey, loves lean on you, be hugged and kissed, gives kisses, and cuddles up right next to you. If she could curl up in your lap, she would. She is a happy, energetic 8 year old ready to go with you anywhere. She walks well on leash and enjoys exploring. For those of you who like big dogs, she raced at 75 lbs. in her younger years and is close to that today. She would do best in a home without cats or small dogs. (Wire to Wire is a sweet 8 year old girl who weighs 68 lbs. and ran 18 races.)

All of our greyhounds are fully vetted meaning they have had full dentals, spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and wormed with Drontal Plus before adoption. All hounds are cat and small dog tested as well. Our adoption package includes a martingale collar and leash, track muzzle, vet paperwork, toy, rawhide chew, your first months heartworm medication and tons of valuable information.

We require all adopters to read either "Adopting the Racing Greyhound" by Cynthia Branigan or "Retired Racing Greyhounds for Dummies" by Lee Livengood.

We only adopt to families in the Central Virginia area including the Richmond Metro Area, west to the Charlottesville area, east to the Williamsburg/Newport News area, and south of the Fredericksburg area.
