Meet Wire
Wire is a cuddly little guy, just about a year old and weighing 7 lbs. He has beautiful black and white markings that really make him stand out in a crowd! Like most Chihuahuas, Wire loves his people and is happiest burrowing under the blankets close to his person. Still a puppy, Wire is a playful little guy and does well with other dogs, but much prefers a buddy who is quiet over the barky dogs.
He’s an active little guy but can do a little resource guarding with his food. Wire is still a puppy and will need to go to a home with patient adopters who will help him with housebreaking. He has not been crate-trained and is quick to let you know he really doesn’t like being in a crate. Wire will need to go to a home with children over 8 years old, please.
Wire has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
You can visit at the Salt Lake PetSmart (1830 South 380 West) the third Saturday of each month from 11-3.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete our online adoption application at www.uaaf.org. For more information call/text Maryjo at (801) 809-0602 or email maryjokorb@gmail.com.
