WINTER is a happy, silly, energetic, loving young lady!

Some of her favorite things include walks around the neighborhood, sitting nicely for treats, zooming around the back yard, chewing on her favorite toys, and snuggling close with her people!

Winter is a young girl who still has spurts of puppy energy so she really benefits from some mental and physical stimulation to keep her on her best doggie behavior! A nice walk or jog, puppy play dates, a car ride adventure, or playing a new game or learning a new trick are her favorite ways to expend that energy.

After some health exercise, she’s happy to be home sniffing around the yard, chewing on a tasty bone, or cuddled up on the couch. And if she does happen to grab your slipper from time to time, she will easily and gently return it with no problem.

Despite Winter’s rough start to life, she is extremely sweet and loving. She’s doing very well learning to be a loved member of the family and quickly mastering things like walking nicely on a leash, crate training, and potty training. And she gets an A++ for playing and snuggling!!!

Winnie hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t instantly love and just wants to have fun and play when she meets a new friend! She can be a little unsure of new humans though, but she’s a great judge of character and quickly comes around to kind people especially if they have treats and a little bit of patience. Then, she’s your best friend for life!

In her short time living with her foster mom and 2 doggie siblings, Winter has learned that most humans are good, dogs are great, and treats are fantastic!!!
She is a very smart girl and quick learner who will melt your heart with her beauty, her silliness, and her unbeatable snuggles!

We believe WINTER to be a Staffordshire Terrier mix. Her estimated DOB is 12/16/2019, and she weighs 60 pounds as of December, 2020.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
