Meet Winston
Name: Winston
Breed: Wire haired terrier/Dachshund/mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Male/ estimated DOB 02/2019 / 22 lbs
Vetting: Fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is receiving flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention monthly.
House trained/Crate Trained: He does very well left loose in the house. He is excellent in a crate, sometimes he just doesn't want to go in. He has slept in a crate, and has been loose in the house with no issues. Winston uses a dog door with no problem.
Dogs/Cats/Children: Winston was raised with his sibling, Remy. They were both previous shelter dogs. Winston can be stand offish with the bigger dogs. He tends to growl at them but doesn't bite he just wants them to leave him alone. Good with smaller dogs, He needs a proper introduction. When he lived with previous owner they had cats he was good with them.
Energy Level: Basically he is low energy- Winston will run and play but it doesn't last long. If snuggling was a sport he would win hands down.
Before FAR/My History: Winston and his sibling Remy both came from the shelter.
Training Status/Commands I know: I know my name and respond and come when called.
Things that make my humans happy: Snuggling with my foster mom!
