Winston is an energetic, 5 year old Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix and he has some awesome double dew claws to prove it! Winston is ready to help you achieve your New Year's fitness goals! He is great on leash and is ready to accompany you around the neighborhood or for a hike through the forest.

Winston is a devoted companion who doesn't always want to share is person so a meet and greet with other dogs in the house would be needed. Winston does have a history of living with cats and loves to play with other kids who understand that his food and toys are his! Winston is house trained, crate trained and knows some basic commands such as sit and shake. He's sure to make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.

Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
