Meet Winston
Winston is a deaf and vision impaired 6 month old (small) Australian Shepherd currently being fostered near Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Winston can bit over exuberant and we've begun working on some manners and impulse training. He is taking very well to training and is very eager to learn! Winston will need a family who is dedicated to his continued training using positive reinforcement. He tends to get a bit over aroused, but he is taking very well to re-direction and is already showing signs of self-interrupting and looking for direction from his human before making a poor choice.
He's a smart guy that would make an amazing sport dog! We are accepting applications on Winston, and will be very picky about where he ends up, as we want to make sure he goes to a home where he will be able to reach his full potential.
