Winnie Mixed Breed Pierre, SD

Winnie is a 2 year old female mixed breed. Her birthdate is 5-7-23.

She came from a very overcrowded environment and will need to learn how to dog. Like the others we took in from that location, she is EXTREMELY timid initially. Just very bewildered. She will need a patient owner who will take the time and effort to teach her of comfort, safety and security.

All things will be new to Winnie: potty training, being fed from a bowl, walking on a leash, riding in a car, sleeping on a bed. You get the picture.

We have no doubt that she will develop into extremely sweet and loyal companion if given an opportunity.

Winnie would be an excellent companion for someone who lives in an apartment or has mobility issues. She is small and we expect she would be easy to handle on a leash due to his small size and more mellow attitude.

Rescue dogs are notorious for losing their birth certificates before arriving in rescue. Any claims of breed, DOB, and estimated full grown size are strictly estimations made by our vets during exam and our shelter staff's experience.
