Say hi to Winnie!

In her previous home, Winnie was described as a playful, high-energy girl. She loves sticks and will play fetch and chew on them all day if given the chance! She also likes squeaky toys and playing tug-of-war with her people. Winnie is not a fan of people wearing hats or hoods and gets uneasy around them. She asks people to please remove them before coming to say hi.

Winnie has not lived with other dogs but has met them at the park and loved to play with them. However, Winnie doesn't always listen to other dogs when they're letting them know their boundaries. She may prefer to be a solo doggy or go to a home with a dog who can match her energy. She has lived with an older child and done well with them. Winnie loved to play with the kids to release some energy; however, since she's a big girl who like to rough-play, we recommend Winnie go home with older children who know to respect her boundaries when she gets overexcited.

Winnie has not met cats but has shown a prey drive toward small animals such as squirrels and geese.

Winnie is still working on potty training. She would do best with a consistent schedule to help her get the hang of things. Come meet this cutie today!

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
