Introducing little miss Winnie. This adorable petite senior (12 years of age and approx. 10 lbs. ) Shih Tzu was surrendered two weeks ago due to her owner’s passing. Not only is this little gem a cutie, she loves attention, being petted and sitting in your lap being cuddled. She’s a little hard of hearing and her vision is not perfect but she more than makes up for it in spunk. She potties outside and will use a pee pad if she can not get out. She will have you laughing at her antics and how she struts around.

Winnie is looking for a quiet home where she will be loved and cared for, preferably with an elderly woman or couple. This little love bug is a gem in the rough.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
