Many of you may remember Winnie; we rescued her a few months ago after being found tied up to a stop sign. Sadly, she was nothing more than skin and bones.

Fast forward to now, and Winnie looks like a totally different dog! She spent the last few months decompressing, gaining weight, and learning what it means to be safe. She has overcome so much, and she is now ready to find her forever home!

We think Winnie is around 3 years old and roughly 50 lbs. She is extremely social, silly and has a sweetness about her that wins you over quickly. She loves to romp with other dogs and would do well with an experienced owner who is comfortable with big dog play. She loves her @ruff_land_kennels and has learned this is her safe space when she is alone. To start her forever family on the best foot possible, she worked with a few local trainers to boost her confidence, and she is now fine-tuning her skills with @fullcirclecanine! She would make an excellent dog for anyone wanting a partner for life’s adventures - road trips, hiking, daily walks - you name it! She loves to play fetch and would love a backyard with kids to run around. We can’t wait for this girl to get the happily ever after she deserves.
