Meet Winnie
Winnie - Terrier Mix - Female - 5 Months - www.twyla.org
Meet Winnie: This Cute-as-a-Button little Terrier girl came to us after she was given up at a Vets office with Parvo, which she not only survived but she thrived due to caring and loving foster homes. She is a sassy Spitfire of a little girl, not shy, a little "outspoken" with other dogs, but plays well and is great with cats too. She is all of 6 lbs, and not expected to get much bigger. She is leash and crate trained, rides well in the car and is making great progress with housetraining - she will need a home where the training can be continued as she is too young to "hold it" for more than a few hours.
Her ideal home would have another dog, someone home a lot to help with housetraining, a fenced in yard to allow her to safely chase squirrels and quite a bit of action and attention to fulfill her need to exercise and affection.
***** Please note that not every dog comes to every adoption day, so if you would like to meet a specific dog on adoption day, please contact us so we can make arrangements accordingly.
