Winkey Hound & Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Our sweet little Winkey did not have great start in life and sadly suffered an eye injury as a little puppy but did not receive treatment. All that changed with on June 26th when this little 15 month old came into NALA to learn about love and safety. This shy little girl is now getting the socialization and love she never had. Winkey no longer has to be terrified or has to fight for food from a horde of other dogs and is now pain free after a left eye enucleation.

This little brindle beauty is ready to start her new life and is blossoming more and more each day!. Her ideal home would be with someone who has patience and love enough to let her learn to trust and the home must have other gentle dogs for her to learn from. Winkey would love a lap to snuggle into, another dog to play with and is crate trained, almost potty trained and has the cutest little prance you've ever seen!
