Meet Wimbledon – a 5mo, 45-pound Shepherd, Husky mix looking for his forever home!
Wimbledon has been living with his canine sister and enjoys playing and wrestling. He would enjoy having another dog in his forever home to play with too! When meeting other dogs on walks, he has done well sniffing and approaching slowly and gently. Wimbledon has also been living with a cat and mostly ignores him. Wimbledon would be fine in a home with a cat who stands his/her ground and is dog-savvy.
Wimbledon loves to give kisses and get pets! He also enjoys chasing tennis balls and taking naps to recoup from all the playtime – this pup has energy and will thrive in a home where he is able to have daily opportunities for exercise!
Wimbledon is a smart pup and that smartness as he has gotten more comfortable in his foster home has leaned towards stubbornness on occasion. A forever home where he will continue puppy and obedience training will be important for him to be the best dog that he can be.
Wimbledon loves everyone he has met and will shower you with kisses and never say no to pets and belly scratches!
Wimbledon is looking for home with another dog to play with, a fenced yard to enjoy, and plenty of humans to pet and snuggle him!
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
