Meet Willow

Willow is a very sweet and calm girl. She is a beautiful and kind female. She is a perfectly perfect dog in every way, but she simply does not like cats! Willow will need to live in a home without cats, but read on to discover all of the wonderful things about sweet Willow.

First off, the nitty gritty: She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. Willow is less than 2 years old. She is house trained. She is wonderful with children. Willow is being fostered by Nell who lives in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Call or text Nell at 505-280-4596 to discuss adopting Willow.

Nell shared the following about sweet Willow:

She's so well behaved. She has no issues that concern me or my family. She doesn't get in the garbage. She doesn't jump on countertops. She doesn't chew things. She is affectionate. She's a big love. She's happy and sweet and gentle. Willow is playful. She's just an awesome dog. Unless you happen to own a cat--she absolutely cannot live with cats.

Willow is great with my kids. She has no food aggression. Willow is best placed in a home without other pets. She would like to be the only pet in her home. She cannot live with cats or smaller dogs and did I mention cats? No cats.

Willow has a very unique star shape mark on her right hip. She loves to dig holes and play fetch. Willow would like a yard to run and play. She's very sweet and playful. Cuddles and getting petted are her favorite things. She is very affectionate.

Nell went on to share how Willow came to live with her family in Los Lunas: Willow came to me as a foster in an emergency situation because she was aggressive towards cats and other small dogs in her first home. Her first family said they were taking her to the pound and I wanted to help Willow get adopted. She deserves a happy life where she gets to be the great dog that she is, without the worry of cats around the house. Willow needs a family where she's the only pet. We love her and would keep her except, we have a cat.

Call or text Nell at 505-280-4596 to discuss adopting Willow.

Willow is listed for adoption as a courtesy of Sierra County Humane Society. Nell is her foster mom. They live in Los Lunas NM. Nell will field all inquiries about Willow and choose her new family.
