We have it bad for Willow. We can't decide if it's her slightly fluffy ears, large size or wonderful name. Fun Fact: her name was given to her by her previous owner so she does know it. Like most modern women, she knows exactly what she wants and she'll figure out how to get it. And if she's not getting it, the girl will let you know she's displeased. She's incredibly sweet but for sure has a mind of her own. For example this darling will only eat her food if she has some wet food mixed in with her kibble. Lady after our own heart. Willow's most favorite thing in the world is to go for long walks. So her adopter better be ready to get those miles in, every single day. She's rocking the city living life, wants to say to all humans and pups. Her adopter needs to have experience owning a large dog as an adult, growing up with a dog isn't the same. She can pull hard on the leash when she sees something she likes and she can be mouthy when she wants to play. She's learning to be home alone, sometimes when she's left alone she gets nervous and has an accident. We can't blame her as she's still getting used to a new city, human and routine. She would be okay in a home with kids aged 16 years and up. With exercise, training, boundaries and routine she's going to be the best girl ever. Interested in adopting? Her Foster Dad Says: Willow is a gentle soul, playful, loving, energetic, pup. She is a friendly girl who loves to thrash her tail in hopes a stranger will stop and pet her. She doesn't love to stay and talk to dogs or humans long, just say hi, a sniff, and on to the next. Willow has a love for squirrels, and unfortunately rats, and will try and chase them, which with her size and weight, even pulls me with the sudden burst of momentum. Willow has the eyes and face that will melt your heart, I love having her around and she loves to follow her humans around. Throughout the workday, she hops from the couch to the floor, to the bed, and repeats. Willow loves her walks and likes to walk whichever direction her nose takes her, good things shes on a leash! All in all, Willow is a great pup, wants to be near the action, and loves an adventure.
