Willis's Story

Hi, my name is Willis. I am three years old. I spent the first year of my life tied-up on a chain with little or no food and water. I was rescued and placed into my current home last year. My parents divorced and my mom is selling her house and can't keep all of 6 of us. I get picked on by my brothers and sisters quite a bit. I never start a fight. I want to get along with everyone. I like to romp like any good Weim, but my mom says I'm a "velcro dog," and follow her every step she makes. I love going for walks . . . I get SUPER excited. I have a tendency to sneak into mom’s bed after she falls asleep, but I'm not supposed to since there are 6 of us. I do alright with cats. There are 2 of them in the house. I want to play with them, but I'm a bit rough at times, never meaning to hurt them though. I've never really been around little kids so I'm not sure how I would do with them. Since I can get wound-up, I would probably do better with kids a bit older. I am neutered, micro chipped, up to date on my shots, heart worm negative and on preventative. If you have room in your house and heart for me, please contact the LWR. I am being fostered in Elizabethtown KY.

If you are interested in this Weim, please go to www.louisvilleweimrescue.com and fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application we will contact you.

Also, foster homes are always in need for Weimaraners in our rescue. If you are interested, please email rescue@louisvilleweimrescue.com Thanks!
