URGENT! Willie Deserves a Home After a Year of Waiting—Will You Be His Family? ?

This sweet, 4-year-old boy has been waiting almost a year for a family of his own. Originally rescued by North Shore Animal League, Willie was taken in by Road to Home Rescue Support to prevent him from ending up in a Long Island shelter. He’s currently being fostered by the owner of a pet resort, but they’re no longer able to keep him, so he urgently needs a new place to call home.

Willie is a playful, ball-loving pup who enjoys the company of other easy going or chill dogs. His ideal home would be an adult home or one with older children. He’s affectionate, gentle with treats, and ready to shower you with love and kisses! ??

Important Info About Willie’s Comfort with Handling:
Once Willie gets to know and love you, he’s comfortable with affection all over! He’s fine with back scratches, butt rubs, and even belly rubs from people he trusts. For new people, it’s best to start by petting him on his head and chin until he warms up—this doesn’t take long!
