Howdy, folks! My name's Willie, and I reckon I'm 'bout 8 years old. I'm a 48-pound German Shepherd Hound mix, and let me tell ya--I'm just about the most easy-goin', lovin' fella you'll ever meet. I ain't one for causin' a ruckus. Nope, I'd much rather be loungin' on the couch, soakin' up belly rubs, and watchin' a good ol' movie with my people. Nothin' beats a quiet night in with some good company!<br/><br/>Now, life ain't always been easy for me. I was dumped and left to fend for myself, skin and bones, just tryin' to survive. Lucky for me, a kind lady found me, fed me up real good, and showed me what love feels like. She wanted to keep me, but with a baby on the way, she knew I needed to find a home where I'd get all the attention I deserve. And boy, do I have a lot of love to give!<br/><br/>I'm a gentle, well-mannered kinda guy--I walk real nice on a leash, ride like a dream in the car, and I'm fully housetrained (yessir, I know how to use a doggie door, too!). I do great in a crate, though I'd much rather be stretched out next to ya, keepin' ya company. I get along wonderful with other dogs, cats and kids, so if you got a family, I'll fit right in like I was always meant to be there.<br/><br/>If you're lookin' for a laid-back, loyal companion who'll stick by your side through thick and thin, then darlin', I just might be the dog for you.
