Oh...My...Gosh. I am sure that I have already established that I LOVE dogs with blue eyes. They are my weakness. Put those eyes on a Great Pyrenees, with Aussie markings and you have one drop dead gorgeous dog! Everyone, meet Willa! ♥

MY STORY
Hi everyone, I am sure you are wondering how I ended up in rescue. My story isn't all that interesting. My owner adopted me when I was a pup, but they didn't really know about either of my breeds and while they tried really hard to make it work..in the end I just ended up not being a good fit. My owners did want to make sure I ended up somewhere safe though and found a home that was the right fit for both me and them, so they surrendered me to this rescue! So, now I am in an awesome foster home and am excited to meet my furever family!

ABOUT ME
My name is Willa and I am a 2 year old female Great Pyrenees/Mini Aussie mix. My owner said that I am 3/4 mini Aussie, and 1/4 Great Pyrenees. I currently weigh about 60lbs, and have very beautiful markings. Here is what my foster says about me
"Willa is very sweet and wants to please. We’ve been working on not jumping when wanting attention so she’ll sit and keep scooting towards you to pet her. She does want a lot of attention but I think once she’s settled in a home, she’ll feel more secure. She does well at doggie daycare. She doesn’t like to go outside by herself, but will go without me if my dog goes out. She doesn’t play with toys and takes treats gently. She always has a smile on her face."

I am the kind of girl that absolutely LOVES attention. I am excited when meeting new people, especially if they are going to give me lovings! I do okay on car rides, I do try and pace a bit but do much better if another dog is with me. I am working on my leash training, right now I am nervous of the leash. When I am on it, I do try to heard you, but I am getting better! I have not had the chance to go to any public outings, so can't say how I would do. Given my personality though, I think I would love it. I do have a calmer personality. So far, I don't seem to care much for toys or playing fetch. I haven't had the chance to play in any water so am not sure if I like it or not. I do like giving hugs when I want attention, but my foster is working on this with me.

I am potty trained, and can be given free roam of the house even if no one is home. My foster hasn't tried kenneling me, since I don't need it. At night, I like sleeping next to my fosters bed. When she is gone I have free roam of the house. I am good with other dogs, and friendly with them. As I settle in, I am starting to play with them more. I am good with cats, but may give chase if they run. I have not been around any young kiddos, but do well with older children.

WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME
I would really like another dog in my new home. I adjusted pretty quickly following the other dogs lead in my foster home. I also like playing with them. I do have a calmer personality, but can be playful at times so if my new home does not have another dog they need to be on the more active side and preferably be home most of the day.

My adoption fee is $225 and that will include my vaccinations, spay, and micro-chip. I will also be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.

I am being fostered in Tulsa, OK. We do adopt out of state if you are interested as long as you can pick me up. This rescue does not ship us or send us on transports.
