Meet Wiley
Meet Wiley!
He is a 2 year old Great Pyrenese who was originally purchased from a breeder to be a livestock guardian dog, but it turns out, he wasn't cut out for the job.
While Wiley has a lot of breed characteristics of a Pyr, he's just not tough enough to look after livestock - he's more of a sensitive soul. In fact, he can be a bit timid when you first meet him - but he warms up quickly.
Wiley is great in the house, has lived with kids, and is great with both dogs and cats. We think his perfect home is one with room for him to stretch his legs (he loves being outside), and another dog to help give him confidence - he can be a bit of a chicken and often looks to his doggy playmates for reassurance. He's super affectionate and snuggly and quite playful too.
If you're looking for a sweet, teddy bear of a dog, Wiley is your guy.
