Meet WILBUR
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING – This dog is not in foster care with BAPBR and we make no guarantees about his/her health or temperament. We are providing a service to Del Norte County Animal Control to help with adoption. Please contact the shelter directly if you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog–their info is below.
Wilbur can “turn the world on with his smile”! True to his sweet and nurturing personality, this handsome pupper loves dogs and kids alike. Because he came from a volatile human situation, Wilbur doesn’t like stress (who does?) or loud commotion (if you're a yeller or hot-tempered, he'll pass) and will take a little time to get to know you. Once he does, he's on a mission to be your bff; he'll stay by your side, sleep next to you, and regularly remind you that he's got your back for life. Wilbur likes to look his best and enjoys bath time; he'd also like you to know that he needs a little sunscreen when he plays outside for extended periods of time. This sweet and sensitive boy is so deserving of a forever family––please come to the shelter and let him work his magic on you.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR) regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play–so we want YOU to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption– it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
