Meet Whitney, a West Texas beauty with a soft soul. This sweet girl was found as a stray in a small rural town, and sadly, faced the very real possibility of euthanasia. But fate intervened, and Whitney was given a second chance. She's a soft and gentle soul, a little cautious of new things, but always hoping for the best. Whitney is a true beauty, inside and out, and deserves a loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished. She's ready to blossom in a calm and patient environment, where she can learn to trust and let her sweet personality shine. This sensitive girl may take some time to warm up, especially with men, but once she trusts you, her loving personality shines through. Saving Grace Rescue LBK's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fee is $225 (locally). This fee goes toward the cost of our vetting expenses for the dog, which includes the dog being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We require an application and home visit for adoption of one of our dogs. We want to ensure our dogs are placed in forever homes and are not in a situation that would be unsafe for the dog or perpetuate the misconceptions surrounding Pit Bulls. We prefer that adopters be at least 21 years old, but we will consider applicants under 21 on a case by case basis - so please still fill out an application. Please keep in mind that we know our dogs well; behavior, temperament, special needs, etc. Any decisions we make are in trying to do what's best for our dogs and the homes that we adopt them into. **If you are adopting out of state and we are sending a dog for adoption through our partner, Project Freedom Ride, the adoption fee is $500 which covers all vetting requirements and transport costs.**

Our Mission

Our rescue was founded by a group of friends. We saw a strong need for advocates for Pit Bulls in our community. The Lubbock, TX animal shelter takes in close to 2,000 Pit Bulls each year and euthanizes approximately 80% of Pit Bulls that arrive at the shelter.
