My name is Whiskey Blue! I'm a 5 year old, 37-pound, tri-color, male Beagle. My eyes are my best feature because I have those big brown puppy dog eyes with amazing eyeliner to accent them. I can melt hearts with my eyes. I'm also house and potty trained which I'm told is another great thing. I LOVE food! I will "sit" for it and go straight into my crate for food or treats. I also love to be pet and to go on car rides with the windows down!

I'm a sweet boy, but I do have some quirks about my personality (don't we all?). I get very afraid when someone tries to restrain me or when they suddenly wake me up from a snooze. It makes me snap or bite out of fear. I also have something called "resource guarding." I protect anything I think is "high-value," like my food or antler chews.

These quirks of mine are easily managed and my friends at the rescue can tell you more about that if you'd like to ask about me. Because of these quirks, I'd do best in a home without young children. I am okay living with other dogs as long as you introduce us properly, feed me in my crate, and be mindful about treats and toys.

In short, my heart and soul are as beautiful as my big brown eyes. I just need the right home and the right person to take a chance on me. I promise that I'm a good boy and will love you very much if you are patient with me and help me to be the best Beagle that I can be!
