Whimsy

Whimsy and her siblings were found wandering near a school in a rural town we help. The shelter was full, so the person who found them asked us for help. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home. Whimsy has shown us that she is a very good girl who just needed a chance. She is now ready for adoption, and we hope she’ll be adopted in time to be in her forever home for Christmas. <br/><br/>Whimsy is being fostered with other dogs of various ages and sizes, and she gets along with all of them. She is also cat friendly and has done great with children as young as 5. She is smart and learning basic commands. She is also leash trained and house trained. <br/><br/>Whimsy weighs 36 pounds, and she is about 5 months old. We think she is a Lab Mix.<br/><br/>Whimsy is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.<br/><br/>Whimsy can arrive in Illinois on 12/20.
