I am Wendy Mae. My foster mom tells me that I have been a mommy too many times in my short 2 years. I love my human pack and give them all kinds of love, kisses, and hugs. My foster mom stayed home with me and gave me lots of love, patience, and attention which I returned by trusting her a week after moving in with them. I didn’t see my foster dad that often, as he had to go to work every day. It took much longer for me to shower him with the love and cuteness like I show my foster mom. But now, he gets as much and more!! I get along with my foster fur-siblings and have since I came to live with them. They like to have play dates with other dogs and I tag along and do well with every dog I have met. If I don’t like the dog, I find my human and stay by them. I haven’t met a cat, yet, so not sure what that is. On one of my doggy play-dates, I had to also share the room with a couple of human 2 year olds. My foster mom told me I did a great job with them! When I had enough of their energy, I found a couch to get on and curl up out of their way.
At my home, I love to curl up on the couch with my humans and I love to lie down on my back for belly rubs!! My humans think I am really cute and funny. My foster dad is always laughing and smiling with me. I love to go out on walks and play-dates with my humans and my fur-siblings. One of my favorite things to do is to go on a long run with my foster mom. She says I am a really good running companion.
I will do best in a home where someone is around with me during the day and if that is not possible, I probably should have a fur-sibling for me to hang out with while my humans are not around. If you are patient with me, I will be your best friend!
