This sweet lady is Wendy!

Wendy is an approximately 6.5 year old Havanese that weighs aorund 11 lbs. She has not had the best life before joining the rescue. As a breeder release she’s never lived inside a home until now.

She is pretty playful and likes to play with toys & other dogs. She gets along great with all the small dogs she has met. She likes to sit next to you on the couch. She loves butt & ear scratches. She is learning how great treats can be!

She is shy when she meets new people. She just needs kindness, love & patience as she adjusts in her new home & life. She needs another dog in the home as a dog can teach her things that us humans just can’t. She rarely barks. She’s never been around kids.

A secure fenced yard is required as she enjoys going outside. It’s also something she’s never had before joining the rescue. When she first arrived she wore the doggy door out & would spend the majority of the day outside. She also likes to take toys outside to play with them.

Wendy is crate trained. She’s working on her leash & house training. She will sleep wherever you let her. In her foster home she was sleeping in a doggy bed in the living until recently she started sleeping in bed with her foster mommy where she cuddles & sleeps all night long. She will use the doggy door to go outside on her own but she hasn’t exactly figured out yet that outside is where she needs to go potty every time.

Wendy is spayed, current on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. She also had a recent dental. Her adoption fee is $200.
