Wendell Beagle Mix Danbury, CT

This adorable pup is Wendell. He is a 7-month-old beagle mix and weighs just 14 lb. We expect he will be about 20 lb full grown. His foster says " Wendell is very sweet and has lots of puppy energy. He is doing well with housetraining and learning to relax in a crate. Wendell can get overwhelmed easily and needs a home with patience and willingness to put in the time for proper consistent training. He doesn't always recognize social cues from other dogs but that is something he needs time to learn." We think Wendell would do best in a home with teens and up. He is quickly learning how to trust new people and new routines and just needs consistency to continue on that path. He is going to make a great companion to whoever he bonds with and will thrive in a loving, committed home. This boy is going to be worth every bit of effort!
