Working – ok – playing with the pups, I kept looking for behaviors or patterns that would suggest the perfect name. Or just something that made me laugh.
– semi-official name Wellington Boots – is a sleek white pup with light brown spots. Social and sweet, he will race around the kitchen or work on his vertical jump to make sure you see him first. While he was in the early stages of learning to run, he managed to hit the water bowl and would keep on going. More than once. I was beginning to get worried that he was never going to dry off. Never seem to bother him so when the name was suggested for a pup I thought of my fearless spotted pup charging through any obstacle not matter how wet or muddy (get it – brown spots – muddy puppy).

As you’re rolling your eyes at that – check out his mustache …

This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit.
