Wednesday Terrier & Hound Mix Cumming, GA

Hi, I’m Wednesday and I’m looking for a pal for EVERY day of the week! I’m a hound, terrier, 57 Hines mix of the best breeds and about a year old. I’m currently 42 lbs, but won’t get much bigger. Whew, now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk!

In my short lifetime, I’ve been through a lot but I don’t look back at that stuff, I’ve kicked that drama to the curb and am just happily loving my life. Its been certified that I do give the best sideways hugs and am the biggest snuggle bug! I’m a wee bit shy at first but that doesn’t last long, because I adore people and absolutely love children! Though I do warm up to people and other dogs quickly, it does seem to take me a little longer to warm up to female dogs. However, after a good greeting, we can definitely be Besties ? I love running and playing, who doesn’t like toys, right? I’d really like a fenced yard, so I can run and play, I love zooming!

Now then, and this is VERY important, so please pay attention! I absolutely do not like crates, literally Can. Not. Do. Them! It’s part of a bad past and I can never go there again. But, you have to know, I don’t really need one. I am polite and well mannered in the house, don’t chew what I’m not supposed to, and am potty trained. I do need someone who is home most of the time so I can be given frequent potty breaks, I am still young ya know…I do great in the car and sleep nicely in my bed through the night. I’m a very submissive gal, so no over the top dogs for me! Please, come meet me and see for yourself, I’m wonderful!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
