Meet Wednesday
Hi, my name is Wednesday! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Uncertain of strangers but wiggly and affectionate when comfortable
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, respectful and patient kids ages 8+ at adoption counselor's discretion. Wednesday is easily overwhelmed and may become snippy if not approached appropriately.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - will need structured introduction for best chance of success and the safety of resident cat.
-Can Live with Dogs: No - Wednesday has been VERY clear that she has no interest in interacting with other dogs, both in the finder's home and here at the shelter. She will need to be the only dog in residence and will not be a dog park dog.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes
-Potty Trained: Unknown, but appears to be
-Bite History: None
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No, but adopter's cannot be first time dog owners.
-Energy Level: Medium - I'm small but still young and playful!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay and final vet check.
-Additional Information: Wednesday takes a little while to get comfortable with unfamiliar people or in unfamiliar spaces, but if you're patient, she is very affectionate and silly when she trusts that you're a friend. Wednesday's future adopters should be prepared to go at her speed and to set her up to succeed by not placing her in situations that will overwhelm her.
