Watson Anatolian Shepherd & Great Pyrenees Mix Pacific, MO

Watson's (formerly Grizz) family is relocating and are unable to take him and his brother Jackson with them. Their family is making the difficult decision to rehome them and we are here to help.

Watson is an Anatolian and Great Pyrenees mix. He will do great in a home without kids under 12. He will also be a good fit for those who don’t leave town much without him or have a ton of people in and out all the time. He is great in the car and staying in hotels. He is loyal and sweet to his people. He is mistrusting of most strangers and will let you know by his yodeling bark but is the sweetest and calmest snuggler to those who care for him. He is a sweetheart and great guard dog. Has been to many dog parks and dog play places but chooses his people over other dogs any day. He has been in a home with another Pyrenees, and could be more playful in a home with the right dog. He will be a special blessing and delight for those who stick by him. He requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Watson is 6 years old. His current weight is around 105 pounds.

Watson is not at our shelter so an application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with him. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
