Wastey's Story
Wastey is one of the Trash Bag Pups who has grown up in the W&S Sanctuary from the age of four weeks old. She and her siblings were discovered in a trash bag near a creek, likely intercepted from being tossed to their death.

Despite her "trashy" beginning, Wastey (originally, "Waste Management") has become a star at the Sanctuary. She's got it all... she is a stunning dog with eyes that will melt your heart. She's bossy and keeps the other dogs in line and she's the "favorite aunt" of the younger pups.

When it comes to humans, she cannot wait for her time to snuggle on the couch and loves to greet her people with a low and rumbling "bear growl" play howl.

Wastey would do best in a home where she can be cherished for the smart and sassy girl she is. She loves her dog friends, but she deserves a strong bond with a family that loves her and where she doesn't get lost in the pack.

Stats:
- 1.5-year-old mixed breed (DNA results: Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Border Collie, Kelpie)
- Spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives
- Potty trained
- Crate trained (food, treats, bedtime, naptime, while humans are out of the house)
- Knows basic manners
- LOVES to run and play
- Will jump small fences & can dig out
- Great with other dogs, cats, and people (after she warms up to them)
