Meet Wassaw

Wassaw is a true southern gentleman. Coming from a severe neglect case, he's slowly gaining weight and learning what a loving home looks like. Despite his past, he's so eager for love and has such a gentle nature about him. His favorite things include a soft blanket, sleeping next to you in bed, watching you cook in the kitchen, and going on an outside adventure. He was cooped up in a small house for his entire life, so going anywhere with you (walk/car/backyard) is the highlight of his day. With some time his soft, red coat will recover and he'll have a nice round belly for rubs. We anticipate him being a medium-large size dog once he's healthy. He gets along well with adults, kids, and pups. But, cats are meant for hunting so keep him clear of those. Wassaw deserves nothing but a safe, loving home with the good kind of humans.
