Wasabi's Story

Wasabi was surrendered to us on Mother’s Day due to having a skin infection that wasn’t able to be treated by his previous owners and they reached out to us for help! He is a 1 1/2 year old miniature dachshund and was just neutered on Wednesday! He has been getting daily medicated baths, was on an antibiotic, antifungal, and allergy medications. He came to us with a lot of alopecia from his skin infection - good news his fur is already coming back in! While we won’t know if Wasabi is going to have allergy flare ups until his skin fully heals, we don’t want to deny him finding his perfect furrever home. Keep in mind he could potentially have allergies that need management! Wasabi is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and started on preventatives. He has such a LOVING personality 🐶💚 and would truly make the best home for anyone. He is partially potty trained but it is being worked on! He does great with dogs and kids! He does not seem to mind cats but has not fully been tested. Wasabi treats every day like it’s the best day ever and deserves to be the center of their world!
