Warren Mixed Breed Columbus, OH

Warren is one of 118 dogs rescued from a cruelty situation in Pike County. (You can google this situation, but be warned that it is difficult to read about. However, despite the awful situation, somehow the dogs that have come from it are wonderfully amazing dogs who seem to understand they have been rescued and are so incredibly grateful for it.) Warren is slowly adjusting to life indoors but has loved regular meals, treats, soft beds, and scratching his back on carpet!

He is estimated to be 7-8 years old and is currently 41 pounds with weight to gain. Warren has quickly adjusted to life indoors. His favorite things are walks, meal time, soft beds, scratching his back on carpet, and playing with his foster siblings (cat and dog).

He loves to chew and sniff, gives kisses, and frequently requests leg massages and loves having his "hands" held. He recently learned to sit and walk politely on a leash. Warren is doing well with potty training. He doesn't yet understand his role inside the house, he looks to his foster parents for guidance and is working on learning to be more independent.



Adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
