Wanda Chihuahua Mix Portland, OR

It's pretty old-fashioned to say that blondes have more fun. And if you ask Wanda, it's also not true. It wasn't fun to be stray and pregnant, even though she was with her twin sister Maryanne. And when she had her babies (all of them more blonde than the next), they were the main ones having fun! But now those puppies are adopted and Wanda is ready to head out to her forever home. She looked all around this town, and all she found was 5 needy pups!

Wanda is about 2-3 years old and is a little gal at 10 pounds. She is likely part long-hair chihuahua, and like most little dogs, she takes a bit to get to know people. However, she warms up quickly and is affectionate to those she trusts. Wanda likes to be the one to decide when to cuddle, which we very much respect.

Crate trained and not destructive, Wanda is a good house guest. She is mostly potty trained, but had a few (understandable) accidents in her foster home when she was busy raising her puppies. Being a mom is very time-consuming, so she'll thrive with one-on-one attention. She's good on a leash, although lacks a bit of confidence, and she was respectful to cats and kids.

Wanda's foster mom says she's sweet and very smart. She has a little bit of a wall up, but we expect that to come down once she has all the focus. Wanda is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative and is current on her flea and heartworm preventions.
