Walter Labrador Retriever Mix Lake Saint Louis, MO

Walter is a happy lab mix puppy that is goofy, playful and sweet. He enjoys being with his people and especially loves playing with other dogs. Before he came to us, he lived outside with his littermates and didn't have any human contact. He may be a little shy when you first meet him but has really come out of his shell and loves to get attention. He's doing good with potty training, is crate trained and sleeps through the night quietly. He is still getting used to a leash, but since he's a late starter it is going to take him some time to figure it out. Being a lab mix, he's super smart and will pick up on training with consistency. Plus, he is very treat motivated, making training much easier!

Walter enjoys the company of all humans, and loves the teenagers in his foster home. His favorite things to do are play with his people, run around the fenced yard with his dog friends, play with toys and then get lots of pets and belly rubs from his humans. He will comfortably settle for snuggles after his energetic play sessions. He's great with kids and would be a perfect family companion!
