Meet Waldo
Waldo is a lively 16-month-old terrier mix, weighing in at around 26 pounds. He’s all grown up now and ready to embrace a bright future!
Waldo's journey hasn’t been easy. He spent his early days living outdoors, with little to no positive human interaction until we rescued him. On December 15, 2024, we knew we had to step in and give him the help he desperately needed, especially with the freezing weather. His feral behavior made it tough for other rescue organizations to help, but we were determined.
Fast forward almost three months, and wow, what a transformation! Waldo has shown us just how amazing he can be. He’s incredibly smart and picks up on things so quickly, often requiring very little guidance from us.
Waldo is all about fun! He’s motivated by food, play, and praise, making training a breeze. He’s excellent with every dog he meets and absolutely loves to play. He’s also good with cats, respecting their space while still being playful if they’re up for it. When it comes to humans, Waldo enjoys being part of the pack. He’s outgoing and active, but he’s got that fun, bullheaded streak—just because he’s so clever!
Waldo is busy—not hyper, just full of energy! He’s genuinely happy as long as he has someone by his side. He’s fully house and crate-trained, mastering those skills all on his own by day two! His confidence shines through, as he’s incredibly self-motivated.
Waldo’s adventure is only just beginning! He’s ready to explore, learn, and play. Trails and hikes are his favorites, but he’s just as content at home, especially when he’s surrounded by his favorite people and furry friends. Waldo truly has a heart full of adventure! Waldo needs an active home with someone who loves the outdoors. Someone who is home most of the time. Car rides are fun too. The more we expose Waldo to the world the more he loves life.
Waldo is house and crate-trained. He walks well on a leash, and we are actively working on basic obedience training and off-leash recall.
