Olive is a shepherd mix, currently 31.8 lbs and estimated to be 60–70 lbs full grown. If you know the breed, you know they can be a little mouthy—it’s in their DNA. She’s a smart, active puppy who needs structure, mental stimulation, exercise, and ideally another dog in the home. Having a canine buddy helps keep her busy and prevents her from trying to “herd” the kids.<br/><br/>Olive would do best in a home with:<br/> • Another playful dog<br/> • Older children who can help with training and won’t be afraid of normal puppy nipping<br/> • A family committed to continued training and enrichment<br/><br/>The good stuff (and there’s a lot!):<br/> • About 14 weeks old — prime training age<br/> • Gets along beautifully with other dogs and even respects a geriatric cat<br/> • Responds quickly to verbal correction<br/> • Always sits for food and treats (often before being asked!)<br/> • Showing excellent impulse control and learning to wait for rewards<br/> • 90% house trained<br/> • Crate trained and LOVES her crate—it’s her safe space<br/> • Sleeps through the night<br/> • Extremely affectionate, cuddly, and loving<br/> • No signs of food aggression or resource guarding<br/> • Knows basic commands taught by her former family and is very smart<br/><br/>Olive is a wonderful puppy who just needs the right environment to shine.
