Dear Humans,
My name is Vivie - have you ever had a “black and tan” - puppy, that is? I’m one of those, with a lot of cuteness thrown in. I used to be a scaredy-dog but I am getting very brave and friendly now. These past 6 months I have learned to love people. Just keep those yummy treats a’coming and I will do anything for you. I love my crate for bedtime and quiet time. Being outside to explore the world is one of my favorite things. Things that are interesting go right in my mouth...YUM! I potty out there without any inside mistakes now, too. My furry BFF is a big dog who has good manners, they say, so I try to do what she does. I know if I sit nicely and wait I will get food and kind words - mealtime is especially exciting. They say I am 35 pounds and still growing. My favorite past times are chewing toys and bones, snuggling next to or on a warm human and playing with other dogs...I REALLY love them and they are all so interesting to me. I have seen those things called “cats” but they look too scary to chase or play with, so I think I will leave them alone. So if you want me to be happiest, please be very patient with your training (I need to learn a lot more about this wonderful world), I really want a fun BFF dog buddy with whom to romp and play and offer me a quieter home without little children (they are still scary to me). I am excited to meet you!

**Please note: Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applying is the first step in our process.**

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
