Vivian Rose Jack Russell Terrier & Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Hi!
My name is Vivian Rose. My original name was Olivia but my foster’s daughter shares that name, so they renamed me.
I am a cuddle bug (Velcro Puppy) I love to sleep on/next to my person but another dog would do. I have a ton of energy but I take a lot of naps. I’m still learning how to walk on a leash so mainly I play with the brothers in the backyard. I know how to tell you that I need to go out, but you need to pay attention because I’m not vocal about that, I will however tell you that there is an animal or person in the yard. I’m very aware of any skunks that appear in the night (found out the hard way that they are not fans of barking). I am scared of brooms, mops or anything that resembles a stick. I don’t like loud voices. They make me cower, if you want my attention, speak gently and I will listen. I am very curious about cats, I currently live with one, she intimidates me but I dart after her when she jumps. I love the brothers (dogs) SO much. Big Boy will wrestle with me all day and lets me win. I’ve never been with any other dogs so I can’t tell you how that would go. He’s 60+lbs heavier than I am but he’s a gentle giant. I hope to find a brother like him. Kind, gentle and one who wants to play…all the time. The other one is the one I cuddle with. He is pretty indifferent about me.
I have never been left alone for more than 4 hours. I’m always safe in a crate/kennel indoors when they have to leave. I don’t chew on shoes or stuff except a corner of a cardboard box on occasion and I will however shred any stuffed toys. At night I sleep with the brothers on a huge dog bed or next to my foster (I sneak up after they fall asleep). There is a gate in the doorway so we don’t have freedom to roam at night. If I need you I will paw at you and touch your face with my little nose to wake you up. I only do this if I really need to go out.
I’ve never been left alone all day and I really hope that I can find a home with someone who is home all day so I can cuddle and love. I’ve never been around kids, my foster thinks that I may accidentally scratch them because I paw to get attention and that may scare little ones.
I know how to sit and I can boop your hand if a treat is offered. I’m not yet able to stay or lay down on command but I can be taught. I’ve learned how to take food gently if you remind me. I can jump pretty high and I can sit up on my haunches if I think I might get a treat.
I sigh loudly when I’m relaxed and I’m petted. Even in my sleep.
My foster thinks I’m a special lady who will be devoted to the person who shows me love and kindness.

P.S. I’ve been eating a vegetarian diet…I will overeat, stealing food from the other dogs which might make other dogs territorial. It’s safest if food dishes are not close to each other and closed between meals if there are other dogs. Wet dog food is not good for my tummy. I do like frozen blueberries, watermelon, bananas and peanut butter (all natural).
