Virginia's Story

H, I’m Virginia. I am a pit/lab mix and weigh about 60 pounds. I like all the dogs I'm living with, and love to play with them in the yard. I have been ignoring the cats, but I think I might like to chase them now. So maybe they wouldn’t like me as a roommate. My favorite thing is people--I love people. I like my toys and am learning to play fetch. My leash manners are a bit iffy, but I really want to please people so I probably could get the hang of it if someone helps me. I am comfortable in a crate, not destructive in the house and am house trained. I like car rides and hanging out, running in the woods or hiking. I'd like a home with grown-up people. I’m probably too big for the little kids. And a home with a fenced yard to run in and a place to learn new things would be great!

I'm being fostered in Frederick, Maryland.
