Meet Vinny
Vinny is Shar Pei, cattle dog, pitbull and several other breeds - a true rez mutt.
We expect him to be 60-70lbs when he is full grown.
He is SUCH a good boy. His foster family would keep him if they hadn’t already adopted his sister!
His pregnant mom, Valerie, was picked up on the rez and he and his 7 siblings were born in foster care on July 27, 2024.
Vinny is 6 months old, has been handled and socialized since birth, walks well on leash, uses a dog door, is house trained, does not chew or destroy, loves sleeping in his crate, attended puppy classes (courtesy of Diane’s Clever K9’s), knows ‘sit’ and ‘come’, loves playing with other dogs and is sometimes nervous meeting new people but warms up quickly.
He is sweet, silly and playful but listens well and settles down easily.
He would do well in a family home, make a great ranch or back country adventuring dog.
Vinny is available for adoption through Blackhat Humane Society.
