My name is Vinny. I’m a 7-year old male and was surrendered because the kids in my former family kept feeding me strange foods that made me sick. I’m a large (20-lb), white and blue IG with a very playful vibe.

My hobbies include playing with toys and sometimes destroying them, doing laps around my foster family’s home and exploring the large yard, napping under blankets, and cuddling with my foster daddy. I would prefer a family with a house that has a yard as I have a lot of energy to exert. I love to socialize and play and I have a very loving disposition.

I’m allergic to poultry. My eyesight and hearing are perfect, and my new vet says that I’m at the perfect weight. This is probably because my foster house has many stairs to give me the cardio exercise I need. I’ve recently had all my check-ups and it was discovered that I have a slight heart murmur (grade 2 of 6), which is common in my breed. My condition does not require medication and does not limit my activity. I just had a dental procedure and they pulled three (3) small teeth. Other than this, I’m in perfect health.

I’m house trained and walk well on leash. I’m used to sleeping in bed under the blankets. I always sleep the full night without needing to go outside. My last walk of the night is at about 8 PM and my first walk of the day is at about 7:30 AM. I usually have to be woken up to start my day, especially on wet or cold days!
I have a sweet disposition and would be okay as an only dog or if you have another dog that loves to play, it would make me so happy. I’ve spent some time visiting with my daddy’s sister and her grandchildren. I got along fine with their 3-year old grandson. My ideal human would be someone who is home a lot and likes to play. We can snuggle, go for walks, play fetch and meet with other dogs at the dog park.
