Vinnie (best squishy face) Labrador Retriever & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix White Lake, MI

Vinnie is approximately 2 years old. He was on the euthanasia list until his foster stepped up for him! He loves playing with other dogs and getting pets and love from his humans. He is a very loyal young man!

From his foster in TX:

Vinnie is known as “Vinnie the Goob” because ‘goober’ is the best word to describe him. If you have tile floors, you’re in luck because you’ll get to see him run like a cartoon character—he flails his paws around for 20 seconds trying to get enough traction to start running. Once he finally gets going, more often than not, he’ll run straight into a wall or closed door or stationary piece of furniture. He always pops back up with a goofy smile on his face though!
What he lacks in poise and grace, he makes up for in sweetness. He loves to snuggle and if you rest your arm on him, he’ll pick up his paw and rest it on you. He loves to jump up and put his paws on your chest and look up at you with the sweetest, most adoring puppy dog face.
Do not get me started on his floppy jowls. I don’t have the words. They’re perfect for wiggling and jiggling around, and smooshing and mooshing.
He doesn’t mind going in his crate at night or while I’m at work (as long as he’s enticed with a “box treat”). Basically, he’ll do anything for a treat! He’s been great around kids, and was especially gentle with my 10-year-old nephew who spent the weekend with me and “adopted” Vinnie for a few days (which meant Vinnie was subject to an aggressive amount of hugs for 48 hours straight—they both loved it).
He enjoys roaming around outside in the yard, though he does get a little bored and… chewy if left alone too long. He gets along with other dogs but also loves attention, so he wouldn’t mind being an only dog. He’s just a super sweet goofball and he’ll be a great addition to any home!
