Hello, my name is Vincenzo—but you can call me Vinny (just don’t call me late for dinner!). I love to eat, though I need to stay slim because of my delicate leg. I am a 2 year old male being fostered in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Here’s my story: with my first family, I had a few misadventures and ended up with a broken leg. It healed, but I managed to injure it again. So, my right front leg is a bit unique in appearance, but my foster mom assures me I’m well on my way to feeling great!

My ideal home should have a few key things to help keep me safe: soft area rugs around any furniture I might want to jump on (and nothing too high, please). I’d also do best in a home with minimal stairs, no children under 16, and, if possible, someone who’s home most of the time.

I’m a bit of a homebody—I don’t need dog parks, cafés, or outings. While I ride well in my car crate for vet visits, my heart’s happiest simply being at home with you. And yes, I mean with you. Snuggling is my absolute favorite thing. Sure, I’ll chew on the occasional bone, but I’m all about the cuddles, and I’m a pro.

New people and especially children can be a little overwhelming for me. So, if you’re a homebody who loves to snuggle, can help me stay fit, and have the soft rugs I need, we might just be a perfect match.

Oh, and a few other things: I’m house-trained, know how to sit, and will do my business in the yard or on a leash. I love cuddling with my Italian Greyhound foster brother, get along with other small dogs, and previously lived peacefully with cats. I’m also crate trained and very well-behaved in it.
