Meet Vida

Meet Vida!

Are you looking for a gentle, timid, kid friendly, dog friendly, low maintenance, loyal, low energy house trained, easy dog to join your family? Then, Vida is for you.

Vida may not have had the best life being confined to a kennel, and overbred, but you wouldn't know it, she's so loving to all humans, very gentle and just overall the sweetest girl you could meet.

Vida has a spunky and hilarious sweet personality. She does funny tip toe dances when she's excited which lasts about 30 seconds. She is estimated to be 5 years old, spayed and overall in good health.

Vida's perfect day is to laze around in bed until humans are ready to get up, go potty, eat and then settle back down for a nap, and on repeat.

Vida loves dogs and will need a dog companion in the home to keep her company. She doesn't love crates but has only just started to train so this can easily be changed (she will need a heavy duty crate). Vida would do best with someone home a lot so she can get all the snuggles and cuddles she desires.

Vida has been tried and tested around young children, and numerous dogs and has done great. Did we say she's easy?? Not cat tested but we feel she'd be okay. Vida would be better with a fenced in back yard.

Vida rarely barks, except if the door bell goes. She is blossoming into a beautiful happy girl, with small spurts of energy every now and then and is learning what toys are. She loves the sun, and says a stick is her favorite toy ever.. If she can find a human to love her with some sticks in the back yard, she said, "She'd be the luckiest girl alive!

Can you love this girl? Set up a meet and greet with Vida; you will not regret it. Her foster says she's the sweetest foster and it's been a pleasure being a part of her journey.

To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
